Me aged 25

My son has scanned hundreds of old transparencies onto my computer for me and I am having great fun looking at them all again. I think most of them have reproduced very well considering the age. The green frame of course I added myself in my photo album software, but apart from that the photo is untouched since my husband took it all those years ago.

Beautiful shot of you. May I ask a question....How is your son scanning the transparences. I have some I want to do and do not know how. I am unable to do them on the regular scan. If you can help I would really appreciate it. You can contact me at penlessthoughts@gmail.com. Thanks!

You are certainly lovely. I can see the picture of you at 25 alongside the one your sidebar and I think you haven't changed a bit:)

Do you know our American actor Billy Crystal? He is famous for saying, with a thick accent which I can't place, "You look marvelous darling!" It sounds like, "Joo, look maaaahvalous dahling."

I love the garden pictures. I am so not a gardener, so I really appeciate what you are sharing.

Thank you for adding me to your blog list.

Hello Barbara, thank you very much for your visit to my blog and for being part on the notebook giveaway. :) I didn't know that those plants were called leeks. My brother in law may have told me, but I ended up forgetting. Anyway, you look very pretty on your young photo. :)
Have a lovely weekend.

Hi again Barbara. I wanted to comment on your question about the "wool" yarn. Actually, it is 100% cotton, so there is little shrinkage. And yes, I wash them in hot water and they do fade over time. They are never as lovely as they are brand newly knitted. But They are still very practical. I love them for that reason alone. And they make the nicest gifts.

One of my teachers wore her hair like that, I always wanted to try that hairstyle but it just dropped out! I use it sometimes for my papier mache dolls.
