Roses are beginning to flower

More of the front roses are coming into flower

Isolated ones at the back

A few weeks into June and the display at the back will be stunning

I continue to show my Rock Rose as it flowers more and more each day. It is about 6 foot high and 6 foot across and just covered in these dainty flowers. They all fall off by late evening and are covered again by the next morning. The flowers are like tissue paper. I grew this from a cutting of a plant that I took out some years ago, which in turn was a a cutting I took from a friend's shrub.

I love your roses. I need to replant some in my garden. I had to pull my old ones out. Neglect and age did them in.

Thanks for letting me know that the cities where you live are much the same as ours. I do love to get out in the countryside here too, where it is green and lush and clean.

Oh, and about my "foot picture" as it is affectionately known. It is very much a conversation starter which is why I hung it in the first place.

The roses are lovely Barbara. I am partial to the coral colored ones the best! I am so glad I now have your blog to read. It is so refreshing! Keep up the good work. Take care my friend!
