Greenwich Mean Time on the Global Day of Worship Site
The Global Day of Worship (GDW) is a call for a unified, global worship movement so see the name of Jesus Christ lifted up throughout the earth. It will be a day that will unify many denominations within the body of Christ while embracing and celebrating the differences in our expressions of love for Jesus Christ.
Through a unified, celebration and adoration of the name of Jesus, the world will see that we are His disciples.
12.12.12 (7.0 pm - 8.0 pm) in each time zone a wave of worship and adoration will span the globe and unite all believers as one body.
Utilizing 24 time zones, we will agree with and join the 24 elders, spoken of in Revelation 4, who are already worshipping Jesus around the throne.
It is when the worship of heaven meets the worship of earth that spiritual climates of nations will shift as we serve faithfully here and now in preparation for His return.

Oh-oh. This is the first I've heard of it. Perhaps I should investigate further.
Rebekah looks a great deal like you, Barbara. I can definitely see a strong resemblance.
I know that it appears that I swooped in here, but the fact is that I've had the computer off all afternoon and your post popped up at me first thing!
Happy 12-12-12 to you. Sweet grandgirl!
Hugs
She's so sweet. A very apt illustration indeed.
Thanks so much for this post, Barbara. I was not aware of this specific time of worship, but have been especially praying for all those affected by the random shootings that took place in a mall on the outskirts of Portland yesterday afternoon...and asking blessing on those in general who suffer not knowing Christ.

It is heartwarming to know there were so many prayers being said throughout the world.
What a lovely picture! She is darling in her pink.
I didn't realize that it was a special day except for the date. Your Rebekah is just darling.
Great post Barbara!
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas Barbara!
Catching up on blogs this morning!
May the Lord continue to bless and protect you and yours in this uncertain world. HE is still on the throne, and we trust in Him!
