Children's Diamond Jubilee Certificate



Just in case you miss me!!!
Something I did before going away


Every child in school in our Borough received one of the above to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee


I am not a child but I asked our Member of Parliament for one anyway plus 2 for my Grandchildren who do not live in my town

Do hope you get one for yourself and the grandchildren.
One of my friend's father's was naval attache to Bermuda in the 60's --pretty good gig if you ask me!

A lovely certificate,Barbara, and a bit of a history prompt for me...Her Majesty is Monarch over so much of the world!
It is so curious to realize that my
ancestors over 200 years ago lived so very near you, around Boston, England, yet ventured to what became Boston, MA, in New England to find freedom that you and I are blessed to share today on opposite sides of the pond :)

I hope that you will get one and one for each of your grandchildren too!
Guess what?! I was in England for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and it was wonderful! So happy that we were able to be there during the celebrations! Do you know the second verse to God Save The Queen? The crowd in Eastbourne didn't! :-)
