Holiday and an Indian Summer

The last post before going away for this seriously addicted blogger.
Due to a problem in ordering a spare picture card on line I now have 2GB of picture cards for my camera. That's 640 photos! I'm sure I could find enough in The Cotswolds to use this amount but maybe not when I think of the time involved in filing etc that amount of photos.
As I am as addicted to photography as I am to blogging, who knows though!
Before I even think of posting Cotswolds photos I want to do my posts on Chartwell, Sir Winston Churchill's country home and also Blenheim Palace which is his ancestral home and the place where he was born.
See I am already thinking about blogging when I come home! How sad.
But for today
Some delicate colour in one of the borders that was seriously affected by the hailstorm.
Nature does repair itself. With a little help from me of course!
I always prune back any shrub that has flowered and in doing this I get another late flowering as seen here. Never as striking as the first but good all the same.
Plus the sky last night and some cards I made this week
Hope you all have a good week, I will miss everyone.

My dear Barbara,

Thank you for the sweet comment. I have missed you too. But life has got quite busy that I barely have time to visit the blogs as much as I would like. But things now are getting slower and I will be back here to read your story. Hope you have a great trip and can't wait to read when you come back.
Take care.

Your photos are always such a treat. I really travel in my armchair when I see them. I so wish we could travel in England...and perhaps some day we shall. Thank you for providing me with a glimpse of your beautiful land.

And, oh boy, I'm looking forward to those Cotswold photos, as well as the others you mentioned. It's like a little tour of England, I feel privileged to be able to join you on it....

I hope you are having an awesome time Barbara. I have enjoyed looking at the photos and reading your posts. I haven't visited you in awhile. I found it intriguing that you met Princess Diana's father!
I just spent a few weeks with out internet access. It was so odd to want to check my little ol' blog and the blogs of my buddies, and not be able to! LOL Be safe and I can't wait to see photos of your vacation.

Hello Barbara....
Hope you have a lovely trip back to where I still call ‘home’. I’m looking forward to seeing lots of pictures which I’m sure will be quite familiar scenes. Marion

I just stumbled across your blog. I am delighted. You are a woman after my own heart. I can't wait for you to post those Cotswold pictures. I have been there once, and never will forget the fairytale delight.

Barbara, I was wandering through the features of my bloghost and noticed that it had mistakenly marked your comments as spam. Couldn't have made a bigger mistake! I have "de-spammed" you and hopefully will get to see your sweet comments now. Looking forward to having you back.
Hugs,
Anne

Your comment about addiction to photography made me laugh. You should hear my husband. I had to get him his own camera, now he's finally got something to do while I shoot away (I am still staying with my snapshot camera thingy, so I can shoot from the hip, if necessary).

(I am late with commenting, lost my favorites list and am slowly digging the urls up from my mail file.)

Btw, open a yahoo account for your blog mails, you have unlimited storage space there and everything nicely grouped, if you open folders for the most prolific commentators and correspondents.
