Cotswolds in Watercolour

We are going to The Cotswolds on Friday for a week. We have rented a cottage on a sheep farm. I will not have access to a computer - how will I survive!
It is such a pretty area that I can't imagine how many photos I will be taking. Have taken photos there in the past but that was in the days before digital cameras.
These are a few paintings that I have done of the area. They are framed and the photos taken through glass so the reflection affects them.

Oh my! Did you do those? They are wonderful. And they make me want to jump on an airplane right now and book a B&B right there! Enjoy your trip, take lots of photos to share, and if you want to, you could learn to spin wool from the sheep farm!

You are multi-talented indeed. I told my Mom you think she should get on the computer and showed her your blog. I think that may have done the trick. My "Ruth" was born on this side of the Atlantic to British parents. Both of their gamilies came to visit often and I grew up saying post box and boot of the car. People still ask me where I am from on occasion! Enjoy your holiday

I love the Cotswolds. When we visited Guernsey again in 2004 (I've not been home again yet, sniff sniff), we spent a few days in the Cotswolds in a period cottage, it was beautiful. We enoyed shopping at Cheltenham too. Have a wonderful time!

I was just in the Cotswolds. What a lovely area. I sort of miss those fields and cottages now that I'm back. Those narrow roads, though. That was scary, especially when driving a car on the "wrong" side of the road with the steering wheel on the right. Have a great time.

Barbara, your paintings are beautiful. I love the delicate quality....and the muted colors. You have a wonderful style of painting. If I saw those in a shop, I'd buy them for myself!
