I have been asked a number of times if this is my church or what is my connection with the place. No, it is not a church as such but if one sees the church as a body of believers and not a building, then yes, it is a church. It is a Christian retreat and resource centre, a place where one can come and be refreshed or rest awhile, be taught, counselled and a place of safety for the needy and hurting.
There is a lot more to the grounds than we see here but the photos can be seen on other posts.

This was part of the route taken by Pilgrims on their way to Canterbury in days gone by.

Pilgrims Way...ohhhh, that must have a lot of interesting history. The grounds there are so lovely and restful. I can well imagine how weary ones could find a lift there. It must be wonderful to walk there and pray as you go. The coral and yellow flower combination makes me smile. Wonder if I can duplicate it in some small way in my own garden.

It would be easy to feel nearer to the Creator there... not at all like the freeway during rush hour. Thanks God for nature. It's where I live (in my mind).

To me they look like the color of orange sherbet and yellow flowers.
It all looks so peaceful and a wonderful place to walk and pray.
I had wondered where the Hall got its name. Now I know.

Barb, would you be so kind as to say a healing prayer for my daughter, Ashley. She'd love to be married and have more children to raise in a christian home. She went through an unwanted divorce 3 years ago.
A fine Christian Husband and devoted daddy for her daughter, Payton would be answered prayer.
Also my son, Austin is in need of healing in his mind.

What a spectacular place! The wisteria is just stunning. What are the yellow and salmon colored flowers? They are lovely too.

Oh, I loved looking at Pilgrims Hall! I read a fantastic novel about a pilgrimage this year and I became so curious about pilgrimages. It's always nice to visit with you, Barbara! I DO love your haircut! That's such a cute photo of you on the sidebar.
