My Garden Comes to Life

It's amazing how quickly the garden comes to life

This Tamarisk hangs over from next door

And then there is the scaffolding
All this to replace the gutters
What happened to the good old ladder
When Alan replaced the guttering himself 33 years ago he did it with one ladder.

We did have some benefit though with the scaffolding left up for 4 days. Alan climbed up and painted the top third of the house and cleaned all the PVC

Will be back to regular visiting as soon as I have everything transferred from my old computer along with the many other tasks involved

Hello Barbara...your garden is full of pinks and white...very pretty. I can hear the blackbirds in my memory...those English blackbirds with their especially lovely song...in the morning and evening.

Our gutters are in need of a good cleaning....you have reminded me.

Much safer the scaffolding and easier on the knees and feet. Things are looking lovely your way. All the best with the computer!

Hi Barbara, the tamarisk and your flowers are spectacular. How does everything fit into one yard. You have the gifted hand for flowers and for art. Brian

Beautiful to see spring's splash in your garden -- full of colours and textures and foliage.

What a beautiful garden you have again this year! Is there anything more lovely than an English garden in spring?

Your clematis are stunning! Best wishes with the home repairs and the computer issues. There's always something, isn't there?

Your clematis are far, far ahead of ours...yours are lovely as all the other flowers are too!

Yes the garden is looking splendid!
To my mind, the scaffolding less so -- but then it will be gone pretty
soon.
Looked at the post below and tried to inhale the Exbury azaleas through the computer.
Bliss!

How beautiful everything is in bloom and the season has just begun.
That scaffolding is huge, best to be safe than sorry though eh !

Your garden is gorgeous now! I love all of the clematis. It must be so thrilling to see everything back in bloom.

There are certainly advantages to scaffolding.

You have a beautiful garden and it really doesn't look like you are lacking rain from those pictures. And yes, Indiana has had well more then their share.

Such lovely flowers! Here's a quote I came across, "I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers."-- Claude Monet
