A flavour of some of the houses and cottages in Aldeburgh. Some are permanent dwellings and some second homes or holiday rentals. Some are on the front and some are in the town. All different.

I noticed a number of windows were decorated

My daughter stayed recently in a friends holiday home

I'm having a busy birthday. After lunch at our hotel we are off to Minsmere and Dunwich a little up the coast. Can't hang around, it will be dark soon after 4.0 pm
Wonderful colors and such a pretty location. Your daughter was blessed to have enjoyed that fantastic view while visiting her friend. I liked the decorated window with all the blue and the flowers. Also really found the white house with the pale yellow door and trim charming. Thanks for the tour!
Oh, how wonderful all those houses and cottages are. I remember visiting Aldeburgh when we were staying at Southwold - We also visited Dunwich and Walberswick. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment:)
Hello Barbara....... Belated ‘Happy Birthday’ for yesterday. Gorgeous pictures in this post...... I love the colourful little cottages .... particularly the snowy picture....... Thank you for the recent comment you left for me..... I know I’ve not been a good blogger recently, but I have done a post this afternoon. Catch up with you again soon. Marion
Hi Barbara, just catching up on your recent posts. How wonderful you had good weather in Aldeburgh in November.
I enjoyed this wide variety of homes you showed us and noticed many had funny little balconies of one sort or another. Love the wide stony beach too and the misty shots into the distance.
I'm glad you had a good time for your birthday treat. What an amazing thing to run into those friends from America.
Thank you for taking us through Aldeburgh, very colourful and pretty houses. I'm going to look it up on Google Earth so I know 'where we are' I love sailing and the sea so I have to have my cordinates straight. Have a nice day / Tyra
Hello Barbara, at the bottom of my blog I have my music selection so you can mute me if you wish. lol The current song playing is...The Prayer, by Charlotte Church and Josh Grogan. It is beautiful isn't it.
I'll meet you at the fish and chip shop! I always think a red front door is so snazzy and distinctive. And the house with the blue shutters and trim...so beautiful.

You keep celebrating, y'hear!
What fun cottages. I love all the different colors--we're so timid here with color most of the time.
Yes, the colors make the houses look very neat.
