A Late Afternoon Trip to the Local Farm Shop

Started taking some photos of what is left of Autumn colour this afternoon on our way to a local farm shop and......... can I put the
i-pad down............

The tearoom won a County competition as a place of excellence
but not for us today, I need to get back.

Well at least it gave a break to Norfolk photos!

Hi Barbara, We subscribed recently to Acorn TV and we have discovered a wonderful old show (well, not precisely old but not made anymore) called Penelope Keith's Hidden Villages. We have been enjoying a couple of hours in the evening exploring traditional country villages with her. Reminds me of your blog and the many places you have shown to your readers.

Looks a well stocked farm shop. We usually have a look around them but rarely buy anything. The tea rooms are always an attraction though. Hard to resist!

Thanks so much for sharing your trip. Things are looking much the same here but our local farmers have all but closed up shop here with only apples and potatoes left for the most part. Everything thing else is shipped in and I do miss the fresh fruits and vegetable that summertime brought our way. Your shop looks wonderful and reminds me of one I visited this summer in what we call our Amish Country. They had a bit of everything.

The photos of the farm shop does remember me to the many times we visited your country, these were our favorite foodshops. Nice views from the car on you way to and back.

Seeing the Farmer’s Market and all that beautiful produce was fun! I am pretty addicted to my iPad, too.

Oooh, those savoy cabbages look gorgeous! I have a favorite recipe with them and your photo reminded me to make it when things cool down around here (95F today).
