With the wind howling outside and the rain lashing against the windows it is nice to return to October when we had some great sunny weather.
We are wandering around the seaside town of Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast where the North Sea meets The Wash

We have walked to the front in search of lunch
We settle for The Two Lifeboats which was originally a coffee shop and fisherman'a mission circa 1720
after which we continue walking along the front and back around the town
I so love these murals, they are so lifelike
depicting life in times gone by
Having finished wandering around the town we are wandering along the front, again visiting museums and the like.
This is our last day but I have lots of photos of our time in Wymondham on our way home.

Thanks for this seaside ramble, Barbara. Memories of sunshine are wonderful things in the midst of the grey and wet winter. I enjoyed seeing the murals - there's a town here on Vancouver Island that has many of them. The cosmos were a lovely, bright tangle of colour! Happy Sunday.
I enjoyed enlarging all of the photos for a closer look at this pretty town. The pebble house and the row of white houses are so different from anything over here. I'd like to visit The Treasure Chest, and perhaps wander into the church I can see at the end of the street. What a lovely day you must have had!

Thank you Barbara. It was fun to flip through these photos in large format and it felt almost as though I were there in person. It was a lovely day when you were there and I notice plenty of others also enjoying a stroll through the town.
Very interesting walls made of round pebbles and rocks. I like the beachhouses? Are they places for changing into swimwear? Not sure, but they are colorful and cute. You said nothing about your lunch. Should I take that as a sign? =D

I could live there in a heart beat. What a cute place, and Cosmos grow
in England. I plant them every spring. That word seems so far away.

The murals of times past add interest to the wall!
I imagine the museums held plenty of history within their walls.
That coast looks interesting too, it's a part of England I've not seen .
