Sunday Afternoon in Holt, Norfolk

It is Sunday afternoon and we have had lunch and are walking around the town of Holt.
Always have a chill out day when on holiday before fitting in as much as we can during the following week.
Again, like this morning in Aylsham, almost everywhere, is closed so just right for a stroll.

Tomorrow we will be visiting Blickling Estate which is less than three miles from our cottage

It looks like the town is abandoned. You were able to get all your photos without any people wandering about. Looks like a peaceful place.

What a lovely village. We are making our first trip to London the end of April for 3-4 days on our way to Nice, France. I am very anxious to see everything I can in that short period of time. I want to absorb it all.

Someone has a sense of humor with "Nelson's Eye Patch." So many interesting buildings; I am glad you went for a photo walk!

Watch out for your toes, Barbara! Is this town mostly for pedestrians? I hope so! This quaint community is like some of ours...not laid out in any particular logical manner and with hardly any room for traffic.

How beautiful! I have wandered around town through your pictures enjoying all of the sights. Lots of little benches to sit on and just relax.
May I join you for tea at Horatios? I see an extra chair there beside you, but I think it's Alan's spot to sit.
By the way, you look lovely sitting there.
Audrey.
