Frampton Village, Dorset

Before going on our wanderings here are a few random photos of the village of Frampton in which our delightful holiday cottage was situated

Frampton is a small village surrounded by lovely countryside with many footpaths and bridleways
Sadly with so many places to visit we did not get time to walk any of the paths

The church of St. Mary

The village Green

Different kinds of dwellings line just one side of the road
which although a main road it was very quiet

from the old to the new

walking up through the church yard

I think we will be off to West Bay next

Lovely roses climbing on stone walls. Except for the one modern auto, it would be easy to imagine ladies in long dresses and men in cravats and long tailed coats strolling through the village.
