Friday 15th April

Dear little Rebekah is 2 years old today
Happy Birthday

Here she is in a picture I took last week when visiting
She just refused to look at the camera and ran so fast that this was all I managed

I can put up my own chair thank you!

The card I made for her

The present

Then Janie is celebrating her 12th Wedding anniversary
This is the card I made for her and Chris

Alan and I popped to Leigh-on-Sea in the afternoon to visit a very sick friend. It was sunny but misty on the estuary

And lastly some shots in the garden today

The Heron keeps coming back and we are not seeing any of the mature fish now but there are a lot of babies so we are hoping they will survive

Happy birthday to a charming and adorable two year old!!! I am sure she keeps everyone running about.

Your cards are, as always, beautiful!

I just love seeing your garden come alive. It's a great time of the year, isn't it?

What a darling your granddaughter is.

This post is full of good things - family, a bit of travel, gardening, and as always, lovely scenery.

Have a wonderful weekend, Barbara.

The London Walk photos brought back many wonderful memories of our walks there three years ago! And Leigh-on-Sea will always hold a very special place for us. Lovely pictures, Barbara!

Oh she's darling and what a sweet capture to have the bubbles matching the polka dots on her dress. Very, very sweet.

Your garden is definitely awake and ready. A heron is not such a nice visitor when one has fish in the pond. Otherwise, he'd be an interesting guest.

We are still behind this year, though certainly not as bad as the year that you guessed when my snowpile would be gone. ☺

Rebekah is a beauty! I see Alan mowing in the background. Lovely garden. We are reworking ours with the pool... so it is a bit of a mess.

Have a blessed Easter!

What a sweet two year old. Love the cards you made and isn't it satisfying to make your own cards -- and so much more apreciated to. I love herons but alas, they are the bane of fish. Hopefully, your babies will survive!

Happy birthday to your granddaughter! I also loved seeing the beautiful garden. Hope I can soon post some flower pictures. It's still a bit cold here.

Rebekah has certainly grown into a beautiful little girl. She looks so cherubic, but obviously has a mind of her own.

Your tree is gorgeous in all that pink blossom. Hope the little fish survive those marauding herons!

Dear Barbara,
Your granddaughter is sure sweet! Two years old and precious.

Lovely garden shots.

The cards you've made are great. Very nice work!

So glad you came by HomeHaven to visit. Red Hots are also known as Cinnamon Imperials. They are a hard candy that's hot with a sweet cinnamon flavor.

I like them mixed in with a bowl of peanuts.

May you have a wonderful Spring.
God bless,
d
