Life's Surprises - or Maybe Shocks!

Have not felt like posting this last week. Alan developed some serious and unpleasant medical issues and with visits to casualty and subsequent visits to him in hospital have felt drained and anxious. More tests tomorrow and again in 2 weeks time. Will know how soon he can return home after tomorrows tests. Faith as intact as ever but emotions in meltdown! So glad that my faith is based on what I know and not how I feel.

You'll both be in my thoughts and prayers. We just never know what might come next. Without faith I don't know how some people get through bad times, but I know that it's gotten me through a few.

Oh I hear you loud and clear, Barbara, and know just what you are saying. I am so sorry to read of Alan having some issues. Praying!!! Please let us know more when you can so our prayers can address the issue exact and direct and "name" what it is that "that knee might bow" to the name of Jesus. (((hugs)))

We who have faith are so lucky to have something to carry us through life's problems. We don't really have to name the person that we are praying for...God knows and is there already. Blessings this week.

When a friend phoned me last week and asked if we would like to go to England with them in Sept...after saying, Yes, yes, yes! I thought of you and your wonderful blog. I'm so sorry to hear that your husband Alan is in ill health.

May God bless you and keep you and give you the strength you need to face each new day.~
