Came to my computer with the express wish to visit my blogging buddies and ended up playing around with 'blogger in draft' templates. I have resisted changing my template as I prefer to have something simple so that the accent is on my posts and not the background. Having found a simple one I went for it on impulse. From there I thought I would try the 'blogger in draft' formatting. I did try this when it was first added but was too impatient to play around with it so gave up. Here I am having another go and learning as I go along. In so doing I have randomly selected some current scenes from my garden as a test post. Hope you enjoy.

look carefully it has used plastic to line it
The sad thing is that a Magpie raided the nest

I like your template experiments...
Your garden is looking very spring like now. Lots of color. I had no idea that lettuce would germinate like that!
What is that plant with the tiny little berries that are blue and green? I saw something similar at Disneyland recently.
Your garden is looking beautiful! We have a weigela bush here too, that (and the vegetables) was all that I recognized. Your template looks pretty nice. Hope you can find something that is right for you.
Yes blogger in draft...don't you just love it. I ran across it by accident and just got sucked in too. So many choices...that I love.
Your anniversary stay at Aldeburgh was amazing. You sure were blessed by your kids. That was just beautiful. All the special details, and the sound of the ocean. Doesn't get any better than that!
Your garden is growing beautifully. I am in rose heaven at the moment!
I love this format - very clean and clear! Your garden photos are fabulous!
Barbara, not only is your blog looking great so is your garden. (Sorry, I got interrupted right there and it's been an hour...yikes!) It does the soul good to change things around from time to time. I've very much enjoyed my visit this afternoon.
Great photos Barbara, and I really like your new look!!
Your garden looks great-so healthy and green. I didn't get to plant tomatoes this year and I sure will miss them. Thank god for markets.
Hi Barbara,
Wow, your garden and plants are so beautiful! I love gardens and plants too. It's interesting how the Blackbird used plastic to line up it's nest. I am sorry to know that a Magpie raided the nest. Good of the Robin to build a nest behind this ivy. So lovely to have beautiful scenes in your garden. Thanks for your visit. Take care and have a very blessed week!
Warm regards,
Nancie
What a beautiful garden you have!
I've always loved the texture and foliage of your garden, Barbara.
I just stumbled upon your beautiful blog, and I will be a frequent reader! Beautiful pictures. I don't at the moment have time to read beyond your second post, but I cannot wait to see more soon!
The new makeover is very nice and classy too :) I love your garden and wish I could visit it one day...for now, I imagine all those beautiful flowers growing in my garden. happy weekend :)
What beautiful colours Barbara - your garden is lovely!!
Yes, I tried Blogger in Draft last night. Didn't care for it, particularly the photo part of it. I do like the way you can preview what it would actually look like, but it's cumbersome. Blogger has always uploaded my photos last to first, so I have become accustomed to choosing the last ones first and first ones last. Your garden is looking fantastic; that lettuce from the compost pile really made me smile. What a bonus.
:) Christi
