Those photos are lovely. Is it as cold where you are? We've just come back from Rhodes and I can't believe how cold it is. I'm sure it wasn't that bad when we left.
Hi, Barbara - The gardens are gorgeous. I especially love the photos of the roses - they are my favorite flower! Wish I could stroll through the garden with you and see them in person! ~Adrienne~
What a gorgeously bloomy spring you're having, Barbara! The roses are doing beautifully and I love that lavender in full swing. And your clems are just bursting!
Wow Barbara - your garden is stunning and WAY ahead of mine! I can't believe the difference relatively few miles north can make. Mind you, I have been visiting Andrew and Ann in Kent, and there garden is also way ahead of mine. But I have spent the day out there, and there are so many rose buds..... all I need is a few days of sun!
I am back - it seems ages since i caught up with everyone, but having a month with Diana was worth every minute. Normal life now resumes!
I hope you enjoy my site and that there is something of interest to you. I appreciate all who call and comment, it makes it worthwhile. Come back soon.

About Me
Barbara
North East London, United Kingdom
I'm 71 years old and enjoying life to the full. I have been a committed Christian from the age of 11. For me, Christianity is not a religion but a life. A life lived dependent on the reality of Christ within. I have been married to Alan for 49 years. We met on a Saturday, got engaged 24 hours later on the Sunday and married 4 months after that. I have 2 grown up children, Peter and Jane and became a Grandmother for the first time in July 2006. Our dear little Grandson is called Oliver. Our dear little Granddaughter Rebekah was born in April 2009. You can read more about the journey that God has taken me on in 'My Story'. Click on same under 'subject archives' below.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which must look out Christ's compassion on the world.
Yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good.
Yours are the hands with which He is to bless men now.
Suffering
Jesus did not come to explain away suffering or remove it. He came to fill it with His Presence.
