Barbara, you definitely have some lovely contrasts in your garden - colours, textures, shapes - wonderful! That clematis looks huge! I have been needing garlic/onion blooms for a photoshoot and am thinking of growing some just for that - very prettily growing in your herb garden.
The garden and photos are beautiful. God works in strange ways. (We Know)So many rainy days gave me a chance to check out blogs. The beautiful flowers help survive the rainy days. With two titanium knees the dampness can make me have the acheys. (Is that a word?) Thanks Peg
Barbara, I have been away from "blogland" for a few days...got back just in time to see the beautiful views from your garden! Absolutely lovely! And your orchids...WOW!
Thanks for letting us take a peek inside your garden! Hope to see more as the summer progresses!
Your orchids look fabulous. I've had good luck with them. I thought they would be difficult but, other than taking about a year between blooms, they turned out to be easy.
Oh, Barbara, your garden is so beautiful! I love flowers. They are one of God's precious gifts to us.
My husband and I stopped by Home Depot yesterday and bought some pink petunias for our urns that sit near our front steps. I can't wait to go back and buy some roses, etc.
You are so blessed. Continue to enjoy those precious grandchildren. God is so good.
Lots of pretty color....and I know Oliver loved having you join him in his play! It's also fun to get a peek at the garden I will be seeing in person very soon - yippee!

I love the echo quality of that last photo...so sweet. You're amazing, Barbara! I've got to try and be more like you!
Your garden is truly awake with color and I know that it makes you very happy!

Your garden looks so lush and rich. You have done a beautiful job with texture and color using mostly shrubs.
Yay for a day with Oliver!

Oliver looks like a cutie. I think your garden is so lovely. You do have such gorgeous colors with those flowers. They are so bright and pretty.
The flowers are all stunning. Isn't it wonderful to see the garden in bloom again?
Glad that you took the turn down the slide with Oliver too.
Love the pictures of nature. So lovely.
We have been having so much rain that it's almost too wet. Some of our plants are thriving, this is good.
Enjoying your blog.
God Bless,

Isn't this a glorious time of year in the garden.
May is one of the loveliest and most exciting months.
Great to see the colours coming.... inspirational photos Barbara!

It would be wonderful to just take a walk around your garden. It is very beautiful and the fragrance must be delightful.

Gorgeous! I love the pink flowers, in particular. Even though I have no clue what they are called.
Oh how lovely your potentilla and clematis are out already! I am still waiting. We've been having a lot of rain.
Your garden is so pretty. Thanks for sharing it Barbara.
Breathtaking garden and cute boy!
