The frost in the garden was so heavy last week that everywhere one looked there were broken Spider's webs.
Here are just a few amongst some other delights
The Corkscrew Hazel delights in all seasons
the frozen lawn not to be walked on
A little extra interest with the double mirrored reflections
The Tamarisk on the other side of the fence
so beautiful
but back into the warmth
and last but not least
the card I have just finished making for Alan for our
53rd Wedding Anniversary tomorrow
Happy anniversary to you both! Love the frosty photos.
ReplyDeleteYou captured some lovely photos of the frost on the spider webs.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to both of you.
Happy anniversary to you and Alan! That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so wintery. I love the frozen looking spiderwebs. It has certainly been chilly there.
Your home looks so pretty and festive for Christmas. Merry Christmas to you, Alan and the family.
***Happy Anniversary to you and Alan, Barbara***
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the beautiful photos and for including us in your celebration of 53 years together.

Happy anniversary to you and Alan.... a day to be celebrated.
ReplyDeleteWe had a Harry Lauder Walking Stick in our yard...with such contorted branches. I really didn't like the leaves, but when fall came and the shrub was bare...it was the favorite thing in my yard. I loved it's branches with snow on them and also the shadows it cast on the snow.

I've never seen frost on a spider web before....beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
Happy Anniversary to you both. It sure does look cozy in your lovely home all decorated and looking lovely. I note that you have a US mailbox ornament on your tree and so I take this chance to say that I am very, very impressed with the USPS this year. How's your mail service doing?
ReplyDeleteWho knew that spiders' webs could be so intricate and exquisite?! Just lovely.
Happy anniversary, my friend. Sending hugs and wishes for another year ahead together - filled with blessings behind imagination! I love your photos of frost-encased spider's webs. I'm always intrigued but haven't had a frost heavy enough yet to capture good photos.

Hi Barbara. All the frosty plants and spider webs are so pretty...I wonder where the spiders go when it freezes like that.
ReplyDeleteIt is looking like Christmas at your home. I smiled when I saw the US Mail ornament on the tree. I like your red and purple theme in the front room.
Merry Christmas Barbara and Family.
