Come with Me to Faversham Pt. 1

Come walk with me around the picturesque town of Faversham

    Laversham looks like such an interesting old town Barbara.
    I'm so glad you've continued your series of old English towns with all the history.
    We enjoyed spending time visiting some when in the UK , but missed out on this one as we didn't visit Kent this time.
    I have been to Sissinghurst garden in Kent on a previous trip!!!

    Barbara, these photos are fantastic. What a photogenic place! I don't know how large it is, but I wish the downtowns of our smaller towns in the US were thriving like they seem to do in England. (Perhaps I'm mistaken?) Finally, after nearly 30 years of abandonment, our town's Main Street is beginning to come back to life, though. Thanks for sharing your travels and touring with us!     That is a lovely town. Everything looks so neat and well kept there. I especially enjoyed the picture taken of the church. A 2nd hand book store is always a favorite place for a visit for me. I'll be looking forward to seeing the one there.
