Garden Images Today

I am so enjoying seeing the leaves and blossom appear as the garden takes shape for another year.We have just had a week of beautiful warm weather with the temperature hitting 70f but it is about to change for next week. Not having had the opportunity this week to be out working in the garden as there has been too many other things to do, I am off now to put in a few hours work there. Will be looking after Oliver for 2 days this coming week while Janie recovers from her C-Section and takes care of Rebekah. We are also in the middle of decorating another bedroom. No surprises this time though!! I have also been enjoying using my new electric carpet and upholstery shampooer. So, this is where I am off to now to continue trimming and tidying.























This will probably be my last post featuring knitting. Although I had decided to give knitting up for good, I saw this yarn in Ho*bby*craft and just knew that the colour was right for a blogging friend so took the needles out of retirement to knit a scarf. The second photo is a scarf I knitted for Alan a little while ago but did not post on it.

    It's almost as good as walking through your garden with you as you point out this plant and that. I love how you've got interesting foliage and colors and shapes for each spot. Enjoy the lovely weather!

    You and Alan (does he do gardening as well?) have created such a lovely yard. That first bush is so lovely with the red of the leaves and the yellow of the bloom.

    Now why is it that you decided to give up knitting? Was it too hard on your hands or just no time?

    Hope that Janie and family are all doing very well and do have fun with Oliver!

    The garden is gorgeous. It must be such a joy to be back in it for spring.

    All your goldfish look very happy with the warmer weather. Thanks for the little walk in the garden. It's nice to see the color and blooms appearing.

    I love my little surprise that arrived this week from the Royal Mail! (And, as an American, where we have no royalty, I also think it's very cool that your mail over there is called the "Royal Mail") You are such a thoughtful friend.

    Your garden is stunning! I wish I wasn't so allergic to so many plants and trees. Your place looks like a taste of heaven. The fish are so pretty too! I'll bet you will have fun with Oliver. Congrats again on little Rebekah. The Lord is so good to us.

    Barbara, your garden is lovely and I have enjoyed seeing pictures of your English Garden. I can just imagine how relaxing it would be to be there in the garden.

    I never learned to knit, but I sure admire those that know how.

    Prayer request: My Sister had complete knee replacement surgery on April 20th. She's not doing well at all and is still in the hospital. Her name is Debbie.     Oh Barbara I love your garden. It has recovered so well from Winter. Mine sadly has so much mud instead of lawn.
