Mmmm, that sounds good. Thats funny, my mom calls them beetroot too. Here in the states we just call them beets. I hate cleaning the juicer too. Twice I've done weeklong juice fasts and that was a lot of cleanup.
I so want to get a juicer. I can not tolerate added vitamin c as it is an acid. Well just try to find store bought juice without it! I am saving up to get me a nice one I have picked out! Won't be long I hope!
It looks delicious, I love the color of your freshly made juice. But I can't imagine what it must taste like....I assume it is good, or you wouldn't be drinking it!
I've never tried ginger in a juice before - sounds very interesting. Do all those ingredients produce only two glasses of juice? My mom passed a recipe on to me that is supposed to help with arthritis pain: two potatoes, two carrots, two apples.
That sounds gorgeous, im going fruit and veg shopping this week so i may just try and make it! Oh no, hubbys dad borrowed the juicer, well, the blender will have to do!
That sure looks good. It beetroot the same as beets? I will have to try it. Thanks. Hope you are doing well and happiness is your constant companion. connie from Texas
I have never bought a juicer because I suspected the clean up was a mess. Lucky you, to have a hubby that will help with clean up. My husband probably would too. It looks delicious, and sounds healthy. Ginger, nice touch…
What a healthy drink Barbara. I have a juicer and used it a lot when I first got it, but now it sits and collects dust on the shelf ... because I hate cleaning it.
Barbara...that looks incredibly healthy! and...it's a bonus that it is delicious...I hope your having a beautiful week-end...Dee Dee
ReplyDeleteYummy and delicious~
ReplyDeleteBlessings my lovely friend.
Thanks for your visits and kind words always~

I love juicing. I'm a bit boring and usually stick to carrot, ginger and apple but it's worth the clean up job. Deeeeelish!

It's a beautiful color and certainly sounds like it would be very healthy.
ReplyDeleteHow great you husband cleans the juicer!
hugs!

ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks pretty -- and oh so healthy. Good thing that you have someone to clean that juicer for you.

My MamaMia wants a juicer. She is interested in making smoothies like the one you showed. It looked wonderful. And no wonder you are both so healthy.
ReplyDeleteI often have blueberries, strawberries, and protein powder whirled in cranberry juice for my lunch. mmmmm!

ReplyDeleteBarbara I recently lent my sisters juicer and, though the juice was wonderful, the washing up was horrid.
ReplyDeleteSounds very healthy. Wow!

ReplyDeleteBarbara, I have often thought I would like to have a juicer, but have never owned or operated one. What do you look for when shopping for one???
ReplyDeleteBarbara,
ReplyDeletePlease forgive that previous deleted comment. I made a mistake, corrected it and reposted another comment. I do not like doing that. Sorry.

ReplyDeleteYummo...looks so healthy! My husband and I use to juice years ago, shame on us for stopping. I liked any juice that had apple or pear in it.
ReplyDeleteWe just need to dig out our 'JuiceMan' juicer from storage and get back to it! thanks for the remeinder to stay healthy. :)
