But I am so thankful for all the rain. On Independence Day we saw fireworks while the temperature was in the 70's! In my 65 years I don't remember such a thing.Sue Seiberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15079271353907261500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-83574113059424832782007-07-05T19:34:00.000+01:002007-07-05T19:34:00.000+01:00Blessings to you my lovely friend.Love JeanneBlessings to you my lovely friend.
Love JeanneJeannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16734743330025974332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-49903911772962023032007-07-05T12:24:00.000+01:002007-07-05T12:24:00.000+01:00Hello Barbara. We had a flood yesterday, though thankfully it didn't come into the house. I do have a few photos of it on my blog though. Spent all morning tapping away writing it up. Nothing much else to do, but hark .. a break in the weather. I'll take Badger the dog out for a quick walk before it starts raining again!lorenzothellamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10248039576046971460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-15932058887660665082007-07-04T14:55:00.000+01:002007-07-04T14:55:00.000+01:00"Rain, rain go away, come back on Mrs Irwin's wash..."Rain, rain go away, come back on Mrs Irwin's washing day."
A rather unkind adaptation from childhood.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-25789305588055291702007-07-04T13:15:00.000+01:002007-07-04T13:15:00.000+01:00It's obviously your fault we've had so much rain t...It's obviously your fault we've had so much rain this summer - you bought a gazebo!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-52657666430328907252007-07-04T08:48:00.000+01:002007-07-04T08:48:00.000+01:00Rain is always so good - well not for the flooded ...Rain is always so good - well not for the flooded houses.

Just in case you want to know who is the dot in Portugal in your Cluser Map: it's me - I come here often.P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10713616744985615258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-35930202340073679922007-07-03T18:37:00.000+01:002007-07-03T18:37:00.000+01:00What a wonderful quote about God leaving the storm...What a wonderful quote about God leaving the storm raging.
Lovely to see more family pics in your earlier post.

Annie xblueberry hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13933212560404256995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-27628124134016632482007-07-03T17:33:00.000+01:002007-07-03T17:33:00.000+01:00We are miles, and miles apart, with an ocean in be...We are miles, and miles apart, with an ocean in between but we are having identical weather!!!!We have had rain 29 out of the past 33 days and more predicted until next Tuesday.

Like you said everything is beautiful lush green. We have a green belt behind our property with huge trees, plus the huge trees in our yard. The other day I looked out the back french doors and said to Mickey "This is how I picture living in the rain forest". I think it's nice God gave us a little taste of that.
SusanSusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11360047123820906113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-66419824057886003242007-07-03T10:41:00.000+01:002007-07-03T10:41:00.000+01:00What a great post, Barbara.I completely agree with...What a great post, Barbara.
I completely agree with every word.
xTinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13621965766127311539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606833213419475387.post-33983387758161261092007-07-03T01:38:00.000+01:002007-07-03T01:38:00.000+01:00What a wonderful way to look at such a disaster. ...What a wonderful way to look at such a disaster.
