It's amazing how quickly the garden comes to life
This Tamarisk hangs over from next door
And then there is the scaffolding
All this to replace the gutters
What happened to the good old ladder
When Alan replaced the guttering himself 33 years ago he did it with one ladder.
We did have some benefit though with the scaffolding left up for 4 days. Alan climbed up and painted the top third of the house and cleaned all the PVC
Will be back to regular visiting as soon as I have everything transferred from my old computer along with the many other tasks involved
your garden looks beautiful and the scaffold doesn't look too bad either!! Judyx
ReplyDeleteHello Barbara...your garden is full of pinks and white...very pretty. I can hear the blackbirds in my memory...those English blackbirds with their especially lovely song...in the morning and evening.
ReplyDeleteOur gutters are in need of a good cleaning....you have reminded me.
Much safer the scaffolding and easier on the knees and feet. Things are looking lovely your way. All the best with the computer!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely flowers and trees. A true English garden.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, the tamarisk and your flowers are spectacular. How does everything fit into one yard. You have the gifted hand for flowers and for art. Brian
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to see spring's splash in your garden -- full of colours and textures and foliage.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden you have again this year! Is there anything more lovely than an English garden in spring?
ReplyDeleteYour clematis are stunning! Best wishes with the home repairs and the computer issues. There's always something, isn't there?
ReplyDeleteYour clematis are far, far ahead of ours...yours are lovely as all the other flowers are too!
ReplyDeleteYes the garden is looking splendid!
ReplyDeleteTo my mind, the scaffolding less so -- but then it will be gone pretty
soon.
Looked at the post below and tried to inhale the Exbury azaleas through the computer.
Bliss!
Love your garden, so pretty, prayers for nice sunny days, so you can enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful everything is in bloom and the season has just begun.
ReplyDeleteThat scaffolding is huge, best to be safe than sorry though eh !

ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful garden and it really doesn't look like you are lacking rain from those pictures. And yes, Indiana has had well more then their share.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely flowers! Here's a quote I came across, "I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers."-- Claude Monet
