London on an April Sunday Pt. 4

Having turned from  Buckingham Palace we are now walking down the left hand side of The Mall.

Here we pass St. James Palace and Clarence House
London homes of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall
and the Princes William and Harry

and now we pass this memorial to
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother

At the end of The Mall we go through Admiralty Arch

and into Trafalgar Square
(in the next post)

  1. Walking around London with you is very pleasant. And discovering some new sights thanks to your eye for things of interest. The "Lines from Linderhof" blog featured London today too, so I've gotten a double dose!

  3. It is many years since I was in London. Your tour reminds me of my 'younger days', at College, when I spent every weekend in London!

  5. Thanks for your comments on my post of Suzette's last pictures and journey. As sad a time as this was for us we saw the Hand of God in so many ways and special gifts and treasures of memories and God times to hold dear and close to our hearts.

  7. Thanks Barbara, for showing me around London, via your blog, because this Kentucky girl will most likely never travel there in person. The sites are so pretty. Have a Blessed day, Trisha

  8. Though never there, I can almost imagine it. I really liked seeing the memorial to the Queen Mother and had forgotten that she lived to be 101.

Thanks for sharing these photo. They are so lovely.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's so nice to hear from you again. Yes, God's providence is God working all things out for our good and completes what he begins in our lives. This is our comfort! Take care and God bless.

    Warm regards,

  14. I echo the sentiments above since I haven't been in London for over a year now --so very different from the rather dark dingy London I recall as a child.
You are a wonderful tour guide.
I hadn't seen the Queen Mother memorial and think it splendid.
Many thanks for your marathon of comments on my blogs!

  15. Barbara, I know this route so well but your photographic perspective is what makes the walk so scintillating. How the Admiralty glows in the sunshine
