Giving in to Temptation

Spending the day at Janie's again in order to spend some time with dear little Oliver, his Grandpa and I decided to take him out for a walk in his pram. Again the route we walked took in the 3 local charity shops. Oliver likes this route you understand! I find it hard to resist books at any time, but when they only cost 50 pence each then temptation is hard to resist.

Then just as I was leaving the shop I saw this cute bone china mug and this was only 50 pence too.

    You have got some serious reading to do my friend :) And won't that be fun?? Especially with some hot tea in your new mug. That is a fun one!

    It looks like Oliver will learn how to shop right from the start :)

    Oh Barbara I just love the mugs, being the Moobear that I am. They are so pretty, wish I could run across some just like them.

    I love and adore charity shops with a passion. In fact my future mother in law spotted a wonderful ceramic water pump that is now proudly sitting in my garden just this afternoon.

    We have a brilliant charity shop in Poynton called 'debra'. They have wonderful books again at 50p. I treat it a bit like a library and as soon as I've finished a book I take it back and put it on their shelves for them to sell again.

    My best bargain was the hardback copy of Chris Bonnington's 'Everest The Hard Way'. I might add that was one book I decided to keep.

    Gday Barbara, wow you have some reading to get through there,looks like my pile of books ive got 16 unread I cant resist new releases Danielle Steel, Tamara MacKinley and Di Morressey (The last two must have) are always set in outback Ausralia,
